Job Description

As a Director, you will lead a team of Associate Directors, Client Managers, ACMs, and Analysts; guiding and coaching them to support clients in analyzing data through the use of NIQ tools and services. You will drive NIQ’s CS Industry Insights mission for the team through delivery of Thought Leadership and be accountable for on‑target delivery of team KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of analytics associates, providing coaching, timely feedback, and recognition to ensure high performance and professional competencies.
  • Manage key client relationships and deliver excellence in insights and service, measured by client‑facing KPIs.
  • Own the CS Industry Insights mission for the team through Thought Leadership delivery.
  • Ensure delivery of relevant KPIs and success metrics.
  • Partner with the Account Lead to transform the customer experience for all clients on the team.
  • Drive execution of Service Model and JBPs.
  • Ensure all team members complete the Academy on time, developing probing skills to uncover key business questions and holding the team accountable for insights delivery.
  • Guide the team in using and visualizing relevant data for strategically impactful presentations and proactive recommendations.
  • Manage or guide the team in setting realistic expectations around project scoping, prioritization, and time management while adhering to JBP priorities.
  • Demonstrate sound question‑probing skills to uncover critical business questions for clients.
  • Generate full understanding of NIQ’s portfolio, identify, create, and convert opportunities to incremental sales through strong client relationships and partnerships with account leads.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to prevent and remove potential roadblocks.
  • Drive customer satisfaction by delivering best‑in‑class analyses and impactful insights.
  • Act as a bilingual (CPS+RMS) team leader and strategist, nurturing a consumer‑driven marketing culture, probing clients for deeper questions, and generating CPS leads.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in the CPG industry and/or related sales, category management, or market research.
  • Solid experience with data analytics tools such as Discover and RMS databases.
  • Prior experience with NielsenIQ (or similar) solutions, including POS/Panel data.
  • Experience leading or coaching high‑performance teams.
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset with excellent numerical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets/Slides.
  • Digital savvy and an AI‑first mindset.
  • Fast learner of concepts, tools, and analyses.
  • Ability to incorporate deep industry knowledge and Thought Leadership into analyses.
  • Proficiency in pulling, analyzing, and applying all relevant NIQ data sources (RMS, Homescan, Omni, Spectra, etc.).
  • Proficiency in using Discover to reduce client concerns and drive adoption.
  • Ability to coach others in data analysis and use of NIQ tools.

Additional Information

This role offers a market‑competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of $114,800 – $150,000. Actual salaries will vary based on experience, qualifications, skills, and location. The role may also be eligible for a sales‑based incentive or performance‑based bonus.
