The Specialist, Communications and Engagement Content, plays a key role in delivering clear, consistent, and engaging communication for ZIPS Car Wash team members. This individual is responsible for developing branded internal communications, managing company documents, and ensuring Field and support teams have access to accurate, well‑organized resources that support company operations.

Responsibilities

Own the creation and evolution of the company’s weekly newsletter, ensuring content is clear, timely, and actionable for Field and support teams

Partner with cross-functional leaders to gather updates and information to be communicated to team members

Select the appropriate communications channels to use based on the audience and message

Content Development

Serve as the primary owner of enterprise document creation, delivering clear, branded, and execution‑focused materials that support operational priorities

Develop a wide range of document types, including playbooks, presentations, memos, emails, executive summaries, job descriptions, and more

Ensure all documents conform to the internal communications style guide

Document Management and Infrastructure

Lead the company’s document management strategy, including building and maintaining organized storage infrastructure

Develop and follow conventions for document naming and categorization

Manage document access permissions to ensure proper access and version control

Document Governance and Continuous Improvement

Audit, review, and update existing documents to maintain accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current processes and strategic initiatives

Identify gaps in documentation and proactively develop new content to support operational needs

Partner with stakeholders across departments to improve documentation quality and consistency

Minimum Qualifications

1+ years of experience in communications; experience in retail communications a plus

Bachelor’s degree in English, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Able to sit for long periods

Required Skills and Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to adapt writing style to meet the needs of audiences of widely varying reading ability

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Knowledge of the car wash industry and operations a big plus

Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat

Proficiency with other document creation software a plus

Proficiency with video editing and production a plus
