Overview
Freedom Technology Solutions Group is looking for a Web Developer to join our ever‑growing team in Virginia.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and produce media elements and interactions that support clear communication and learner interaction for adult learning solutions.

Create and revise online courses and learning solutions across multiple delivery modalities including graphics, websites, web tools, web‑based trainings (WBTs), and other artifacts.

Work in a team‑oriented environment to consult with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and sponsor management to determine technical requirements for learning solutions.

Research, design, develop, document, and implement media products and artifacts to support training courses.

Maintain WBTs, online training courses, portals, websites, graphics and visuals for print and online consumption, and video projects.

Provide support for in‑class learning technologies such as audience response systems and general photography needs.

Document processes and resources for continuity of operations, including code maintenance, knowledge‑management repositories, and project tracking systems.

Ensure all activities and products comply with sponsor requirements and relevant legal restrictions such as Section 508 accessibility, privacy, and copyright.

Qualifications

An active security clearance with polygraph.

Experience working in a training environment.

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience with Joomla site design and administration.

Experience developing WBTs, online courses, websites, or other e‑learning solutions.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Bridge, PDF), Dreamweaver, After Effects, or similar software.

Proficiency with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and HTML.

Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, OneNote, and Word.

Problem‑solving skills for complex application development.

Ability to provide advice and recommendations on product design.

Experience with Adobe Captivate.

Experience designing, building, and maintaining websites.

Experience creating print products such as posters, books, and presentation materials.

Experience with content creation, web design, web development, programming, graphic design, animation, videography, photography, audio recording, editing, and distribution.

Experience using JIRA or other ticket/work‑tracking systems.

Experience accessing and using images/graphics from subscription platforms such as ENVATO, Shutterstock, etc.

Desired Skills

Experience with sponsor cloud technology networks and systems.

Experience creating motion‑graphic products.

Experience working with specialists to build training products.

Experience with general photography.

Experience with video production or a video production support role.

Experience with graphic design, animation, and 3D animation.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Graphic Design, Multimedia Development, Online Learning, or a related field.

Certification in UX/UI (or related).
