Content Strategist - Marketing & Sales Enablement

Responsibilities

Develop and refresh marketing and sales enablement content (proposal content, collateral, web/digital content, pitch decks, case studies, and other resources).

Draft, edit, and optimize content from briefs and insights (including appropriate use of AI and SEO/user best practices).

Partner with SMEs and stakeholders to gather inputs (interviews/research), translate complex topics, and align messaging to go-to-market strategy.

Coordinate with designers/multimedia teams and manage reviews to deliver polished, audience-ready assets.

Promote adoption of content systems and tools by coaching stakeholders on effective use and best practices.

Co‑manage the firm’s library of proposal content and marketing collateral.

Use content management systems and taxonomies to maintain large content libraries, including tagging and metadata.

Use proposal management/automation tools to build customized templates for proposals, pitch decks, and other sales materials.

Apply editorial judgment to ensure quality, accuracy, consistency, usability, and alignment with brand and style standards.

Maintain public accounting professional standards and client confidentiality, with strong attention to detail.

Use creative problem‑solving to support pursuit strategy, partners, and practice teams, emphasizing scalable, accessible AI‑and technology‑enabled solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, professional writing, journalism, English, or a similar discipline from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience required.

Minimum of three years of increasing responsibility and demonstrated experience with marketing content, copywriting, and/or business writing in complex or technical subject areas.

Experience with the development of proposals or pitches in a professional services or corporate environment a plus.

Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders at all organizational levels throughout the creative process.

Demonstrated writing, editing, content management, project management, and design skills with a strong attention to detail.

Exceptional communication, organizational, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Comfort working with ambiguity and exercising judgment in complex, stakeholder‑driven situations.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Compensation
The compensation range reflects the base salary we reasonably expect to pay for this position across our offices in the following regions: CO, IL, OH, and MA. The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is: $58,000.00 - $90,000.00.
