Global Payments Solutions (GPS) sits within HSBC’s Corporate and Institutional Bank, delivering cash management solutions to corporate and financial institution clients. With a network supporting 77% of global trade, our teams collaborate across borders to help clients meet their objectives worldwide.

As Associate Liquidity Product Manager within GPS, you will help shape and grow our liquidity product portfolio. You will support product strategy, performance management, analytics, and business case development, working closely with Sales, Finance, Operations, Technology, Market Treasury, and Risk to deliver better client outcomes and sustainable business growth. This is a great role if you enjoy connecting the dots: market trends, client needs, product economics, and execution and communicating a clear story that gets things moving.

What you will do
Performance and analytics

Track and improve deposit and liquidity portfolio performance using dashboards, MI, and data-driven insights

Identify trends, drivers, and opportunities (e.g., pricing, client behavior, utilization, attrition) and translate them into actions

Support automation and smarter reporting to enable faster, better decisions

Strategy and business case development

Contribute to product strategy by analyzing market dynamics, competitor landscape, and client feedback

Build business cases for product enhancements and commercial initiatives (benefits, costs, risks, dependencies, and success metrics)

Help define KPIs and performance targets and monitor delivery against plan

Product development and delivery

Support cross-functional initiatives with Sales, Client Services, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Risk to improve client experience and product outcomes

Assist with product governance: documentation, controls, risk reviews, and proactive gap remediation

Drive continuous improvement by spotting friction points and proposing practical fixes

Communication and stakeholder management

Create clear, compelling materials for senior stakeholders (performance readouts, recommendations, decision papers)

Communicate confidently across a matrixed organization—aligning teams on priorities, timelines, and outcomes

Partner with Sales and Service teams to support client journeys and commercialization

What you will bring

Initiative-taker mindset and genuine interest in how a product “runs like a business” (clients, revenue, cost, risk)

Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with large datasets and turning analysis into a clear recommendation

Confidence in communication: concise writing, structured thinking, and strong presentation skills

Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment and keep stakeholders aligned

Curiosity about transaction banking and a willingness to learn quickly in a complex, regulated environment

Experience working in a matrixed organization (or the maturity to navigate one effectively)

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
