Location : Middle Kentucky
We are seeking a motivated Regional Sales Manager to oversee and manage the sales team for Middle Kentucky. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a group of outside sales representatives, ensuring they meet and exceed sales targets while expanding the market presence in the region.
The Regional Sales Manager will also be instrumental in developing sales strategies, coaching and mentoring the sales team, and maintaining strong relationships with key clients. This is a dynamic and leadership-focused role, requiring a blend of strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and hands-on team management.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and manage a team of outside sales representatives across the region
Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and development
Conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings to track progress toward sales goals
Sales Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement regional sales strategies to maximize revenue and market penetration
Align regional sales goals with overall company objectives
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategy
Customer Relationship Management

Cultivate strong relationships with key clients to maintain high customer satisfaction
Assist the team in closing major deals and resolving complex customer issues
Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met
Prepare regular performance reports for upper management
Use CRM tools to track activities, manage pipelines, and maintain accurate reporting
Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Engagement

Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and product teams to support sales efforts
Represent the region in meetings with senior leadership
Provide insights on regional market dynamics and customer needs
Budget Management & Resource Allocation

Manage the regional sales budget and allocate resources efficiently
Oversee sales team expenses to ensure budget adherence
Ensure proper use of travel and marketing support resources
Compliance & Policy Adherence

Ensure the sales team adheres to company policies and ethical sales practices
Stay informed on industry regulations and ensure team compliance
Maintain high standards of professionalism and integrity
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required).
Experience

5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or
management role.
Proven track record of leading sales teams to exceed goals
Strong understanding of sales processes, from lead generation to deal
closure.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and
maintain relationships at all levels of the organization and with clients.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess data, track performance, and
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
A results-oriented and goal-driven attitude.
