Geospatial Web/App Developer I

Provide support for the design, development, and delivery of web or stand-alone applications relating to the implementation of geospatial technology for natural resource management. Products include web sites, web map viewers, non‐spatial web applications, and complex spatially-enabled interactive websites
The minimum requirements for this position include all of the following: • Strong skills in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSON, NodeJS, and Java or.Net development. • Experience with front‐end Javascript libraries (preferably Angular). • Development experience building RESTful web services. • Experience with PostgreSQL and/or PostGIS, or other relevant SQL.
Professional certification, or relevant coursework in computer science or related discipline, and seven (7) years of relevant professional work experience designing and building applications. -OR-• Bachelor's degree related to computer science or related discipline and five (5) years of relevant professional work experience designing and building applications. -OR-• Graduate degree related to computer science or related discipline and three (3) years of relevant professional work experience designing and building applications designing and building applications.
-OR- • PhD degree related to computer science or related discipline and one (1) year of relevant professional work experience.
