Our Team, Your Impact
The Manager, Inside Sales manages all sales activities for the business and oversees the day to day management of a team of Inside Sales Specialists. The Inside Sales Manager will monitor sales metrics and manage the entire sales administration process. They will collaborate with professionals, so it’s essential that they have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment. They should also be able to lead and motivate the sales team to achieve specific goals. The Inside Sales Manager should be able to build and coach a high-performance sales team to ensure customer satisfaction, and to deliver revenue results aligned to sales goals. The Inside Sales Manager should have the ability to relate to all customers from the corporate level on down to store management. The Inside Sales Manager position will also require occasional travel to trade shows, business meetings and vendor presentations.

How You’ll Spend Your Day
Responsibilities

Manage the inside sales specialist team to achieve results across various objectives, including revenue, GP, and customer count

Lead key change management initiatives relating to compensation, sales organization structure, e-commerce, and market segmentation

Managing the sales team and all sales activities within the company.

Set and track sales targets for your team

Suggest and implement improvements in the sales administration process

Motivating staff and leading the team to achieve sales targets.

Interviewing and selecting new members of the sales team.

Carrying out sales training with sales specialists and role playing sales techniques.

Ensuring all administration for sales is completed effectively.

Setting sales targets and activity around key performance indicators.

Reporting on progress towards sales KPI’s.

Cold calling customers and selling services and products

Lead cross-functional projects

Liaise with Marketing and Pricing, Procurement and other key cross‑functional departments to ensure continue competitive presence and to increase sales

Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts for a sales team within the division

Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new features and benefits to improve sales

Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement, retention and loyalty

Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met

Build an open‑communication environment for your team, and inspire people to achieve more than they may believe they can

Must be flexible with work schedule.

Your Skills and Experience
Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Bachelors Degree or Masters/MBA Preferred

Minimum 3 years of related sales management experience specifically in pharmaceutical, medical or healthcare

Proven work experience as an Inside sales manager

Hands on experience with Microsoft Office to include ability to work with Excel and Powerpoint

Highly motivated with a drive to succeed and a passion for sales.

In-depth understanding of the sales administration process

Excellent interpersonal and team management skills

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Numerical abilities and problem‑solving attitude

Relevant industry experience and knowledge of the company’s market
