AI Artist

The Role
OpusClip is pushing the boundaries of what AI-generated video can look like — and we need someone with the taste and the systems thinking to help us get there. We are seeking a creative AI Artist who operates at the intersection of visual craft, generative AI, and scalable workflow design. This is not a role for someone who just prompts and ships. This is a role for a builder who obsesses over the final frame, catches what the AI missed, and turns great creative instinct into repeatable systems.

The Mandate

Raise the Bar on AI Output:

Work closely with the AI team to refine AI-generated video assets, story structure, and motion flow. You are the last line of defense between "fine" and "great."

Engineer the Prompt:

Develop prompts and workflows that systematically improve output quality — not one-offs, but frameworks that scale.

Codify Creative Taste:

Translate your design instincts into scalable creative systems that the broader team and our AI can learn from and build on.

Stay on the Frontier:

Experiment with emerging AI tools and turn them into compelling video experiences before anyone else does.

The Profile

The Prompt Architect:

You have deep expertise with generative models and know how to get them to do exactly what you want — and how to work around what they can’t do yet.

The Trained Eye:

You have excellent visual and motion design taste. You notice the six fingers, the mismatched lighting, the object that disappears mid-frame — and you fix it.

The Systems Thinker:

You don’t just create — you build processes. You think in templates, frameworks, and workflows that others can pick up and run with.

The AI-Native Storyteller:

You understand that great video isn’t just great frames. You think in narrative arcs, pacing, character, and flow — and you bring that thinking to everything you generate.

Nice to Haves

Strong background in product design, visual design, or motion graphics

Experience building node-based workflows in ComfyUI, Fal, or similar tools

Prior work in video, film, advertising, or game production

You Should NOT Apply If

You don’t scrutinize your own AI-generated output for quality issues

You think prompting and producing are the same thing

You prefer to work from a defined brief rather than build the system yourself

You aren’t genuinely excited about where AI video is headed
