In your role as an Outside Sales Representative, you will find the most effective way to grow your client base through direct engagement by leveraging our full suite of Party Rental products and services.
An ambitious and persistent self-starter who understands and seeks to stay abreast of the trends within the Event Rental Industry. Must haves are: high-energy, in-depth product knowledge, event industry sales experience, and a proven track record of quick turnaround, ability to close deals, and results driven.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s services.
Make telephone calls and in person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers
Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
Identify advantages and compares organization’s products/services
Analyzes the territory. Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory
Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new services
Keep abreast of service applications, technical services, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas
All other functions and responsibilities agreed between Hensley Event Resources and employee
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 4 years sales experience
Strong organizational and time management abilities
The ability to work individually to meet goals and collaborate within a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Experience in the event industry is a plus
