Job Summary
The Creative Media Producer – Football reports to the Assistant Athletics Director of Creative Media and collaborates with the University of South Carolina Football Program. Responsibilities include producing, shooting, editing, and distributing a wide range of creative assets—video, photos, graphics, and other collateral—to support the Athletics Department’s mission and enhance the Gamecock brand.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and manage creative assets: short and long form video, photos, graphics, and collateral across digital platforms.
Develop and execute a dynamic content schedule, ensuring timely delivery for wide and targeted audiences.
Create recruitment‑focused content and format video for social media, in‑venue broadcast, mobile devices, and television.
Attend events—home, away, and internal—to capture and produce content for various distribution channels.
Collaborate with coaching staff, the Assistant AD of Creative Media, and other stakeholders to align content with the Athletics brand.
Stay current with digital media trends in collegiate athletics and apply creative solutions to increase audience reach, interaction, and impact.
Essential Functions and Time Allocation
Ideation, development, capture, creation, and management of creative assets – 40%
Event coverage and content production for multiple channels – 25%
Other creative projects and assignments – 35%
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 2 years of job‑related experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong creative drive, ability to learn quickly, and desire to help others grow.
Team player who energizes colleagues and collaborates effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of digital media and its application within collegiate athletics.
Working Conditions
Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week. Expected schedule: Monday‑Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
