Position Overview
The Product Developer plays a key role in translating design concepts into commercially viable products across multiple categories. This role partners closely with design, technical design, and production teams to manage the development lifecycle—from initial concept through bulk production—while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and alignment with brand standards.

Responsibilities
Product Development Execution
Manage end‑to‑end product development across wovens, denim, leather, knitwear, and cut & sew categories
Interpret design direction and ensure accurate execution of product intent
Track seasonal development calendars and ensure on‑time delivery of all milestones
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with Design, Technical Design, and Production teams to ensure product consistency and feasibility
Communicate daily with internal teams and external vendors to resolve development challenges
Support fittings, proto reviews, and sample approvals
PLM Management
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date product data within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
Input and track BOMs (Bill of Materials), tech pack updates, costing, and product specifications
Ensure data integrity throughout the development process
Material Innovation & Sourcing
Drive fabric and trim innovation by sourcing new materials aligned with seasonal direction
Build and maintain strong relationships with mills and vendors
Evaluate new materials for quality, performance, and cost efficiency
Vendor & Mill Partnerships
Collaborate with global vendors and mills to develop products that meet quality and pricing targets
Negotiate costs and support sourcing strategies to meet margin goals
Monitor sample development with vendors and ensure timely execution
Costing & Production Readiness
Analyze and manage product costing to align with financial targets
Identify opportunities for cost‑effective sourcing without compromising design integrity
Ensure all products are production‑ready with finalized specs and approvals
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or related field
3–5+ years of experience in product development within the fashion industry
Experience across multiple categories (wovens, denim, leather, knits, cut & sew)
Strong knowledge of garment construction, materials, and sourcing
Salary: $90,000-$100,000
