AV Technical Lead
The full-time AV Technical Lead partners with the Technical Director to support the audio, video, and lighting needs of Grace Community Church. This role equips and empowers volunteers while ensuring GCC's AVL systems are maintained, organized, and operating with excellence to support weekend gatherings and ministry events.
S/he is a self-aware, spiritually mature disciple as embodied by our five marks: spiritually deep, gospel fluent, emotionally mature, culturally intelligent, and missionally engaged. S/he is a humble servant whose gentleness, compassion, and courage remind others of Jesus. S/he lives a multi-ethnic life, demonstrated through friendships and a willingness to welcome cross-cultural experiences and learning as a way to know and love God deeper.
You recognize technology as a powerful tool for ministry and are passionate about using it to help people encounter God. While you may not be an expert in every AVL system, you are eager to learn and quick to apply new knowledge.
You thrive in live production environments. You are calm under pressure, energized by problem solving, and able to think quickly on your feet. You step in wherever needed with a servant's heart and remain flexible.
You genuinely care about people. You take time to understand how individuals learn and engage with technology, and you enjoy equipping others with patience, clarity, and encouragement. Those you train would describe you as kind, approachable, and effective.
While you could work anywhere, using your gifts for God's Kingdom gives you the most joy and fulfillment. You believe the gospel is the most important message ever, so seeing it advanced and lived out in people's lives is of utmost importance to you.
