Job Description And Duties
Under the direction of the Chief, Public and Media Affairs Office, an Information Officer II, the Graphic Designer II is responsible for the concept, development, and production of complex graphic design work as it relates to District 8. The incumbent works independently to create highly professional and difficult design in public awareness campaigns, public information documents, exhibits, and a wide range of graphic arts products for the Public Information Office, as well as assisting other Divisions and units on their graphics needs.

Provide an example of a time you managed multiple design projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. In your response, describe:
How you organized your workload and communicated with clients or project stakeholders.
Tools or methods you use to track progress and maintain quality.
The outcome of your project(s) and what you learned that would help you succeed as a Graphic Designer II at Caltrans.
