Role Summary
We are looking for a strong Content Authoring Lead to lead end‑to‑end content authoring delivery across AEM‑driven web operations. This role will own planning, execution, oversight, work allocation, quality control and delivery accuracy for web content requests. The person should have solid AEM knowledge, a strong understanding of content publishing workflows and a high‑level capability to manage execution with the right information, timelines and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead content authoring work across content updates, new pages, page enhancements, migration support, redirects and publishing activities.
Review incoming requests and translate them into clear execution tasks for the authoring team.
Plan and prioritize work based on business priority, volume, timelines and dependencies.
Ensure all content updates are executed accurately as per approved copy, assets, metadata and page requirements.
Provide guidance to content authors on AEM authoring standards, templates, components, workflows and publishing process.
Coordinate with PM, QA, design, development and stakeholder teams for smooth execution and handoffs.
Validate completeness and correctness of content before QA and publishing.
Track daily progress, delivery status, risks, blockers and backlog health.
Support release readiness, UAT coordination and go‑live planning for content changes.
Drive quality checks for links, assets, metadata, formatting, page structure and content consistency.
Ensure proper documentation, SOP adherence and knowledge sharing across the team.
Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and content quality improvement.
Required Skills
Strong experience in content authoring and web content operations.
Good hands‑on knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
Good understanding of page authoring templates, components, workflows, DAM assets, metadata and publishing lifecycle.
Strong planning and execution tracking skills.
Ability to lead a small to medium content team and manage priorities.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in content delivery.
Good stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
Understanding of QA checkpoints, publishing validation, redirects and SEO basics.
Preferred Skills
Experience in enterprise web operations or digital marketing environments.
Exposure to migration projects, redesign work and release coordination.
Familiarity with WorkFront, ADO, Jira, SharePoint or similar delivery tools.
Basic understanding of accessibility and web content standards.
