Job Overview
We are seeking a creative, motivated, and dedicated teammate to join our Operations Leadership Program. The program is designed to deeply educate participants on the scrap metal recycling industry so they can take on a leadership role upon completion.
Responsibilities
12‑18 months of hands‑on, in‑depth, fast‑paced training in one geographic region.
Learn and model our “Safety First” culture, including OSHA and safety programs.
Be exposed to all facets of scrap processing: buying and inspecting scrap, transportation and logistics, overseeing day‑to‑day operations, and equipment maintenance.
Interact with corporate personnel, customers, vendors/suppliers, and teammates to resolve problems and ensure steady delivery of products.
Collaborate with other managers to plan and direct the work of the organization.
Identify trends and recommend proactive action to manage business situations.
Work with and through management to develop and implement actions that protect company assets and profitability.
Travel frequently and relocate after the program is required.
Work outside in extreme weather conditions in an industrial environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing assignments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and work efficiently with team members.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferably in a Business discipline, Operations, Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
Continuous improvement mindset and creative problem‑solving ability.
Ability to interface effectively with customers and teammates.
Previous leadership experience.
Strong safety focus.

Relocation
Future relocation to any listed locations is required. Company‑paid relocation will be provided strictly based on business need, including Cincinnati, Houston, Kansas City, Louisville, Miami, Orlando, Salt Lake City, St. Louis, Tampa.
