Business Development Manager (BDM)

Position Summary

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will oversee all activities in private label, including the development and execution of strategies to achieve profitable growth for all branded and private label product lines in alignment with corporate goals and direction. The strategy will consider the company’s approach to profitable growth, new customer acquisitions, service, and additional new approaches. Primary focus will be on growing the North American Business Unit while supporting customers globally and collaborating with other MFS entities outside NA as needed.
Main Job Focuses & Expectations

New customer acquisition—achieve the monthly and yearly new accounts won targets per strategy & sales/business plan.
Achieve year‑over‑year sales growth with existing customers in line with the sales plan.
Achieve the monthly and yearly new opportunities into the sales funnel target.
Minimum Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field and sales expertise with five to ten years’ experience in the local market. Sales and management experience is required. Must have excellent verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with distributors, customers, and Master Fluid Solutions personnel at all levels. Must understand the sales process. This position requires 60–75% travel, often overnight, and may require limited international travel.

Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
Motivated self‑starter with the ability to work with little or no supervision and to assemble teams.
Presentation, analytical, and planning skills are also essential.
Technical knowledge/support for MFS products & services.
