The right candidate leads with clarity and empathy, inspires others, and has a passion for solving problems at massive scale. You excel through innovation, creativity, and attention to detail. You are a proven strategic thinker and collaborator who flourishes in a large organization. You sincerely believe that design is more than how something looks, but also how it feels and functions. You enjoy great design debates and thrive on iterating based on customer feedback.
Key Job Responsibilities
Craft end‑to‑end customer experiences for Prime Video, from sketches through functional prototypes.
Experience in bringing prototypes to life through visual design, motion design, micro‑interactions and animation.
Leverage design systems across multiple devices and formats.
Solve customer problems through measurable improvements that drive discovery and engagement.
Partner with engineering and product to imagine, build and test prototypes that allow you to gather feedback on your ideas, and use that feedback to iterate and continuously improve.
Develop and maintain detailed user‑interface and interaction specifications.
Present design work to the user‑experience team, product team, and project stakeholders for review and feedback.
A Day in the Life
The Interaction Designer for Prime Video will join our new team focused on prototyping and testing interactive AI‑driven experiences. You are collaborative, and work well with a cross‑functional team of product managers, engineers, and data scientists. You have excellent communication skills and can present and sell your design ideas to partners and stakeholders. You put the customer at the center of your practice and use qualitative and quantitative data to guide your decisions.
