The role of Business Development Manager involves the formation and execution of a business development strategy for the US market, focusing on contract and managed solutions in the Power Generation and Renewables sectors. The role includes engaging client contacts and key contractors to identify and win business, directly impacting revenue growth. Supporting activities include interfacing with recruitment managers to align service delivery, marketing, and event coordination.

What You’ll Be Doing

Identifying client leads by exploring Power Generation and Renewables markets to uncover potential clients.

Building relationships and qualifying opportunities for NES Fircroft, collaborating with regional teams for sales pitches and tender responses.

Driving business development behaviors, promoting best practices, and training recruitment teams to improve lead generation and opportunities.

Leading strategic business development initiatives, reporting on market trends, and identifying opportunities to expand our brand and services.

Assisting with business development efforts in new territories.

Supporting recruitment teams by helping transition relationships into successful service delivery and account management operations.

Networking with NES Fircroft's current US contractors to generate qualified leads and ensure they feel supported and valued.

Managing contractual reviews, steering commercial pricing, and ensuring new clients are high-value/high-margin.

Mapping the market, identifying key strategic targets, and establishing a robust business development action plan to capture new logo business.

Collaborating with wider North America leadership BDM and operations to ensure client cross‑selling and existing client account expansion into new locations.

What We’re Looking For

Industry experience: background in recruitment or engineering & field services; ideally 5+ years in Power Generation/Renewables.

Commercial savvy: strong skills in bids and tenders, proposals, and pricing.

Outgoing personality: people person, skilled at building and nurturing client relationships.

Organizational skills: methodical, able to juggle multiple tasks with prioritization.

Team player who can also work independently when needed.

Communication pro: articulate and confident in written and verbal presentations.

Leadership skills: motivated to build and manage teams or business units.
