Position Criteria:
Valid Iowa Teaching license
K-8 Music endorsement
Experience working with with middle school level children preferred
Demonstrate aptitude for performing tasks listed
Must exhibit ethical practices and be a role model to students
Performance Criteria:
Create calendar, reserve facilities for rehearsals and performances, and prepare students for the year's Band events to include:
First Full Band Performance in the winter
Solo Night in January or February
Fine Arts Performance in the spring
Assist with set up and clean up after band events
Communicate with guardians, staff, administration, and other stakeholders regarding schedules, transportation, etc.
Collaborate with facility support staff as needed including Operations and Performing Arts Center Management
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the District
