What we’re looking for : An Account Executive for MSL’s Consumer Brands practice in New York City.
What you bring to the table:
The successful candidate will have 2+ years of proven success in PR communications and significant experience in consumer marketing with a focus on executing global digital and influencer programs for leading companies, demonstrated ability to manage projects and collaborate in a fast-paced environment and passion to drive impactful initiatives in the consumer space and beyond.
What you’ll do:
The Account Executive will be joining two highly effective and engaged teams that consistently cultivate successful partnerships with a long-standing client. As a member of the growing Consumer Brands Practice, this individual will have the ability to partner with account teams and collaborate with colleagues across the network to shape strategy and execution that will move the needle for our clients. In an increasingly competitive landscape, this person will implement innovative, compliant concepts that will effectively engage key stakeholders over time.

Responsibilities
Implementation of creative strategic programs that produce superior media and business results for clients
Support development of innovative, results‑oriented, digital & influencer programs that compel consumers to action and drive business results
Prepare and present influencer strategies and briefs to internal teams and clients
Work on large scale influencer and digital activations, including development of campaign approach, influencer criteria and communication with partners throughout
Contribute to delivering agreed upon programs, achieving desired results on‑time and on‑budget
Conduct media (traditional and social) monitoring, based upon account and/or agency needs, and prepare client‑ready reports
Leverage traditional media as well as digital/emerging technologies for PR programming and influencer outreach
Contribute to regular internal and client touch bases to ensure efficient and productive interactions; produce resources including agendas, project trackers, recaps, etc.
Manage assignments to ensure that deadlines and quality standards are met
Support client budget tracking and billing
Support campaign measurement and reporting
Monitoring and analysis of media trends to inform client counsel and team development
Qualifications
2+ years’ experience in public relations or public affairs at an agency
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to collaborate on cross‑functional/multi‑disciplinary teams balanced with ability to work independently to advance projects in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to build positive, effective relationships with external third parties and vendors
Solution‑oriented approach to assigned projects
Appreciation for, and interest in, relationship between traditional public relations and the use of current online/digital technology and social media
A strong interest in and understanding of consumer and media trends
Passion for contributing to positive working relationships with colleagues within the agency and across the network
Attention to detail to facilitate responsible budget management, campaign tracking/reporting and material development
Ability to multi‑task and proven success maintaining high quality work in quick paced environment with multiple client demands

Compensation Range: $66,300- $73,944 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
