Overview
Coordinate survey research projects across multiple stages of the research lifecycle, including survey development, fielding, and delivery of results. Coordinate with YPCCC administrative staff regarding vendor setup and contracting for survey research projects. Coordinate with the survey team and other YPCCC teams to prepare survey content releases. Manage, track, and update internal documentation such as IRB forms, Salesforce, and research archives. Monitor project timelines and progress; proactively flag issues and coordinate with the program manager and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables stay on track. Manage communication with external vendors during the development and fielding of survey research projects. Answer data requests from the research, social media, and partnership teams. As needed, assist in data analysis and visualization, proofreading, and writing tasks for project deliverables. May perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or discipline, such as applied mathematics, statistics, or data science, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills with both academic and non‑academic stakeholders.

Proficiency with Google Docs, Office 365, and Zoom and demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

Basic knowledge of and/or interest in learning about survey research techniques and processes, particularly in areas related to public attitudes regarding climate change both in the U.S. and internationally.

Experience communicating research findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.

Experience working with climate change perception and/or public opinion data.

Proficiency in data analysis using R, SPSS, or other statistics packages.
