Overview
Support the NYSE’s communications team with proactive media relations, content development, and executive brand promotion. Deliver stories for NYSE’s key businesses and help promote listed companies.
Responsibilities
Become a key member of the NYSE’s communications team with a focus on proactive media relations and content development.
Contribute to campaigns and initiatives that support and enhance the NYSE’s reputation and brand.
Participate actively in telling the story of the NYSE and its key businesses, including listings, capital markets, and transactions, and promote listed companies.
Enhance visibility of NYSE’s senior executives through message development, media outreach, and speaking opportunities.
Collaborate with the NYSE marketing, social media, and events teams.
Support events held at the NYSE, including IPOs, client events, and visits from prominent individuals.
Develop materials including briefing books, messaging, pitches, press releases, and media lists.
Monitor and track media coverage.
Assist with conference and event planning and logistics.
Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
2+ years of public relations or communications experience, either agency or corporate.
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Solid background in media relations with existing relationships and proven ability to generate results.
Exceptional writing skills including message development, bylines, blogs, social posts, video and podcast scripts, press releases, media statements, and internal communications.
Keen interest in content-driven storytelling.
Highly organized and professional demeanor.
Confidence and presence to work with senior executives.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Agency experience or work at a publicly listed company is preferred.
New York Base Salary Range
The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, ranges from $87,600 to $118,500 USD. Compensation is based on skillset and experience. Full-time ICE employees are eligible for benefits including healthcare coverage, a 401(k) plan, life insurance, paid time off, and leave for qualifying circumstances.
