Job Title:
Production Technician - Semiconductor/Electronic/Optics Field
Pay Range:
$24 - $28 per hour, depending on experience
Shift:
2nd shift, 2:00am - 10:00pm
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Technician experienced in the semiconductor, electronic, or optics field. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on skills in machine setup, operations, tool management, and quality inspections, working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, equip, operate, and program production machines and tools
Determine and manage proper production sequence for assigned tasks
Input data and feedback into production systems
Manage tools, maintain equipment, and ensure workstation organization
Clean, deburr, and inspect parts per engineering drawings and specifications
Prepare and perform painting operations as needed
Prepare, weld, and assemble welding components; inspect weld seams
Perform and document quality inspections on workpieces
Support prototype testing and provide feedback for process improvements
Ensure all assigned processes meet quality standards and output targets
Actively participate in shopfloor activities and support organizational changes
Maintain compliance with safety and operational procedures
Requirements:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a manufacturing operator
Experience in semiconductor, electronic field, or optics assembly preferred
Ability to set up calibrations and interpret work instructions and technical drawings
Proficient computer skills; familiarity with MS Office and standard software
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Must be able to wear a full-body smock while working
High School Diploma or equivalent required
