At LR Paris, we are looking for a Business Developer to grow our presence within Fortune 500 companies.

Your Role
We are looking for someone with prior experience in the promotional product industry. As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for two key areas: hunting for new accounts and farming relationships within already established Fortune 500 clients. However, to begin your primary focus will be hunting, actively identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities with potential clients. Once accounts are acquired, you will transition to deepening these relationships and uncovering additional opportunities to expand revenue within them. You will focus on identifying and acquiring new business while cultivating long-term, sustainable relationships with established clients to help grow their accounts over time.

Responsibilities
Client Acquisition

Identify and Pursue New Business:

Actively seek out and secure new Fortune 500 clients. This includes researching prospects, initiating outreach, and navigating the vendor approval process.

Strategic Networking:

Establish connections with key decision‑makers, stakeholders, and influencers within target organizations to win initial contracts and lay the groundwork for long‑term partnerships.

Sales Strategy Development:

Develop and execute tailored strategies to break into new accounts, using your deep knowledge of our products, market trends, and client needs to create compelling proposals that win business.

Relationship Building and Expansion

Cultivate and Strengthen Existing Relationships:

Once new accounts are secured, focus on nurturing and expanding these relationships. Position LR Paris as a key partner by identifying new opportunities within the account to drive growth.

Strategic Account Expansion:

Develop comprehensive account plans with long‑term and quarterly goals, ensuring a path to maximize account potential and reach $2M in annual revenue per account.

Internal Networking & Cross‑Department Collaboration:

Expand your network within existing client organizations, engaging with new stakeholders and decision‑makers across departments to uncover additional growth opportunities.

Client Partnership & Satisfaction

Trusted Advisor Role:

Be a strategic advisor to clients, offering innovative, customized product solutions that enhance their brand and create memorable brand experiences for their customers.

Customer Experience Focus:

Ensure every branded product is not just a product, but a key part of creating a lasting brand experience for the end recipient.

Revenue Growth & Client Satisfaction

Drive Revenue:

Focus on achieving your revenue targets by expanding each account's scope and volume of branded product orders, targeting $2M in annual revenue per account.

Client Satisfaction:

Regularly check in with clients to gather feedback, introduce new ideas, and ensure our solutions exceed expectations, fostering long‑term client loyalty.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration:

Partner with internal teams, including design, production, and marketing, to ensure flawless execution of client projects from concept to delivery.

Continuous Improvement:

Regularly refine your strategies and adapt to client feedback, ensuring alignment with their needs and the evolving market trends.

Proactive Communication:

Maintain consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed of new product offerings, trends, and additional opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in the promotional product industry, focusing on relationship management, sales, or business development within large institutions or organizations.

Proven success in acquiring new business and nurturing relationships within large corporations.

Skilled in identifying and pursuing new opportunities, with a strong understanding of how to open doors and become a trusted vendor.

Strong ability to network, negotiate, and deliver impactful presentations.

Project management skills with an attention to detail mindset.

Comfortable working with sales technology and virtual tools (HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.).
