The Producer/Editor on Social Media team is a creative and adaptable individual responsible for producing and editing engaging content, with a focus on our US channels and activations. They will leverage their expertise to craft visually compelling and impactful videos, photos, copy, and stories that resonate with our target audience while aligning with the brand’s voice and objectives.
Responsibilities
This role involves creating daily content for social media platforms including Red Bull USA and Red Bull Air Force’s Instagram, TikTok, Strava, and YouTube (Shorts) accounts. The producer/editor will pitch and plan creative concepts to reach US consumers at scale, building brand love in the process. They will blend their production and editing skills to bring those concepts to life, collaborating with the programming & channels teams and external partners on distribution, and helping to expand the brand’s social footprint and audience of US entry‑point consumers.
Content Development & Production
Plan and execute video shoots, capturing footage that aligns with the creative vision and brand guidelines while working within the allocated budget and timespan. Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling short‑form content, incorporating music, sound effects, graphics, color correction, audio mixing, captions, subtitles, and other visual elements to enhance accessibility and engagement. Export and deliver final videos in various formats suitable for different social media platforms and apply platform‑specific tools and techniques to maximize reach and engagement.
Team Management & Development
Become a center of expertise and best practices for production colleagues, coordinating with the Production Management Team on budget tracking, invoice payment, and vendor management.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress. Collaborate with the Global channel teams to ensure alignment in brand messaging and content strategy, and work with the Senior Manager, Social Media and Director, Social Media to develop expertise and understanding of Red Bull’s social content strategy.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in video production and editing, with a focus on short‑form content for social media.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
Strong understanding of social media platforms and audience behavior.
Portfolio showcasing creative and engaging short‑form video content.
Excellent creative and technical skills in video production and editing.
Strong understanding of visual storytelling and pacing for short‑form content.
Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced and ever‑changing social media landscape.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
Passion for social media and a drive to create content that resonates with audiences.
Must be fluent in English; additional language skills an advantage.
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $65,600 - $98,400 plus cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience.
