Come inspire kids and create memories with managing one of our beautiful hands‑on science summer camps in Seattle, leading the planning and execution of innovative creative design projects, problem solving, and inspiring hand‑on science discovery with kids ages 4-12. Work with a talented team and students who love learning and innovating. This role is SUMMER ONLY from 6/15 - 9/4 and requires both experience with kids as well as previous management experience.

Kids Science Labs is looking for a multi‑unit Assistant Manager to join the Kids Science Labs leadership team who will support the successful delivery of five hands‑on science camp sites in Seattle, including at our flagship learning center in Greenlake.

Kids Science Labs (www.kidssciencelabs.com) has delivered unforgettable hands‑on science experiences for curious kids since 2010. The Assistant Center Director reports to the General Manager in Seattle, and the entire teaching staff. This includes managing teacher schedules, ordering and preparation of science materials, managing the quality of experience for all of our offsite summer camps, and ensuring our customers and stakeholders feel strongly about our brand.

Responsibilities

Must be capable of overseeing daily operations, including managing teacher shift schedules and ensuring coverage

Maintain an excellent customer experience for parents and families through clear communication and problem solving

Monitor and organize camp inventory, supplies, and materials to support program needs both on‑site in Greenlake and off‑site at our partner schools

Collaborate with the general manager to implement camp policies aligned with Kids Science Labs Standards, safety guidelines, and operational improvements

Understand program and curriculum requirements to ensure outstanding delivery of all program guidelines and experiences

Support positive team dynamics and culture that enables kids to learn, grow, and develop as young scientists
