Cru seeks an Associate Director of Brand to support our mission of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ across campuses and communities worldwide. The Director will lead brand strategy, visual design, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure consistent and impactful brand expressions.
Responsibilities
Enforce brand consistency by monitoring art direction and visual standards across all digital and physical brand expressions.
Lead the application of the Brand Identity Guidelines across platforms, media, and ministries by equipping teams, reviewing their work, and guiding execution.
Help safeguard Cru’s brand as a strategic asset by maintaining working knowledge of intellectual property considerations, advising teams and partners on proper usage, and escalating risks.
Oversee the production of brand assets by coordinating work across internal creative teams and external vendors.
Manage day‑to‑day visual design operations for the Brand team, prioritizing work, implementing quality assurance practices, and supporting staff productivity.
Measure and evaluate brand effectiveness by monitoring adherence to brand guidelines and contributing to brand equity metrics.
Partner closely with the Communications team and U.S. Ministries to provide brand resources, guidance, and support that foster alignment and unified visual storytelling.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with creative and ministry partners, including Audio, Photo, Video, and ministry leaders.
Provide leadership to assigned employees on the Brand team, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisal, and resolving problems.

Experience and Skills
4‑year bachelor’s degree in communications, digital media, organizational leadership, or related field.
At least 4+ years of progressive responsibility in communications, brand, design, or related field.
3 years of progressive experience leading mid‑size teams.
