MOXIE Theatre is a professional non-profit theatre founded in 2004 and located in the College Area of San Diego, CA. Our mission is to create more diverse and honest images of women+ for our culture. We achieve our mission by producing plays written by women+ playwrights, creating educational programs, and providing career-launching professional opportunities for female-identified artists, designers and technicians.

MOXIE Theatre produces 3 full productions annually plus small one-off events such as readings and workshops in our intimate theatre space.

Position Overview
The Marketing Assistant supports MOXIE Theatre’s marketing efforts by creating engaging content across digital platforms, designing graphics, and producing key promotional materials for our productions. This creative, hands‑on role is perfect for someone passionate about social media, content creation, and graphic design who wants to use their skills to amplify women+’s voices in theatre. You’ll help tell MOXIE’s story through compelling visuals, social media content, email communications, show posters, and playbills. This position requires flexibility, multitasking abilities, and enthusiasm for working in a fast‑paced theatrical environment.

This is a contract position running through July 31, 2026, with potential for extension based on organizational needs and performance.
