Advertising Operations Manager
We are seeking an Advertising Operations Manager to join the California Post team. The Advertising Operations Manager will serve as a strategic partner to the sales team, owning the full life‑cycle of digital advertising campaigns. The role involves campaign strategy, sales planning, client relations, execution, and reporting, with a focus on driving revenue growth and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Partner closely with sales to develop strategic media plans that align with client goals.

Collaborate with internal teams to respond to RFPs, providing thoughtful recommendations across ad products and targeting strategies.

Own end‑to‑end campaign execution, including trafficking, optimization, and delivery across digital platforms.

Utilize tools such as Google Ad Manager and Placements.IO to forecast inventory, manage campaigns, and ensure accurate pacing.

Proactively monitor campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, and implement data‑driven adjustments to improve outcomes.

Maintain accurate invoicing and fulfillment of IOs.

Deliver post‑campaign reporting and insights, identifying opportunities for renewals, upsells, and long‑term client growth.

Troubleshoot any campaign issues across trafficking, tracking, delivery, or invoicing.

Ensure a high level of customer service with all clients and agencies.

Requirements

3‑5 years of experience in digital advertising operations, account management and/or campaign management.

Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Strong proficiency in ad serving platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager) and campaign management tools (e.g., Placements.IO).

Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong verbal and written communication and client‑facing skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to team knowledge and process improvements.

Solid understanding of the digital media ecosystem, including ad formats, targeting, and measurement.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Location & Availability
The position will be expected to report on‑site 3 days per week in our Los Angeles office (subject to change based on business needs).

Compensation & Benefits
Base pay range: $75,000 – $100,000. Pay‑for‑performance is a key element of our strategy, with annual bonus targets typically expressed as a percentage of salary. Bonus and benefits eligibility will be determined based on market benchmarks, individual contributions, and other relevant factors.
