The Amazon Advertising Manager will lead the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of Amazon paid media initiatives across a growing portfolio of brands and product categories. This role is responsible for driving profitable growth, improving advertising efficiency, and developing scalable marketing strategies that strengthen overall marketplace performance.
Develop, manage, and optimize Amazon PPC campaigns across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and additional Amazon advertising platforms.
Oversee large-scale advertising budgets while maintaining profitability targets, ROAS goals, and overall account efficiency.
Analyze campaign performance, keyword trends, conversion metrics, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
Build and execute innovative advertising strategies designed to scale sales performance across multiple brands and extensive SKU catalogs.
Monitor and improve TACOS, ACOS, CTR, CVR, and other critical advertising KPIs.
Collaborate closely with leadership, sales, creative, and eCommerce teams to align advertising strategies with broader business objectives.
Conduct ongoing market, category, and competitor research to identify emerging trends and marketplace opportunities.
Utilize advanced spreadsheet modeling and data analysis to support forecasting, reporting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
Manage advertising operations within Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central environments.
Provide regular reporting, performance recaps, and strategic recommendations to leadership with clarity and accuracy.
Identify inefficiencies, operational risks, and growth opportunities proactively while implementing scalable solutions.
Maintain strong organization, attention to detail, and accountability across all advertising initiatives.
Perform related duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES
Extensive knowledge of Amazon-specific advertising strategies, campaign structures, bidding methodologies, and optimization techniques.
Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central advertising ecosystems.
Experience managing monthly advertising budgets exceeding $150K.
Demonstrated success managing multiple brands and/or large SKU catalogs.
Strong digital marketing background with the ability to develop fresh, innovative, and growth‑oriented strategies.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet analysis skills, including reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large data sets and make data‑driven decisions.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and execution‑focused.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally and present insights clearly to leadership.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Strong understanding of eCommerce performance metrics, marketplace trends, and retail profitability drivers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
3-5+ years of Amazon advertising, PPC management, and digital marketing experience required.
Experience managing large-scale Amazon advertising programs, substantial monthly ad budgets, and high‑volume product catalogs strongly preferred.
Experience in eCommerce, consumer products, home goods, accessories, or related categories preferred.
