Position Overview
The Program Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and management of the daily operations of the overall services within assigned programs. The two priority areas of responsibility are ensuring orientation and ongoing training of employees and ensuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible. This entry‑level supervisory role is ideal for candidates with at least two years of experience in the IDD field. The position centers on hands‑on direct care while offering exposure to light supervisory duties as you grow in the role.

What You Get to Do
Provide daily supervision and oversight of all employees at assigned programs
Monitor, coordinate, and ensure all services to the individual are delivered
Ensure all direct service shifts in their program(s) are filled
Provide training for employees
Conduct monthly staff meetings
Provide hands‑on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance
Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve
Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, and more
Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age
High school diploma/GED equivalent required
A two‑year degree in related social services and/or two years of experience working in the field of developmental disabilities (supervisory experience preferred)
Person‑centered, patient, and kind

Computer skills for documentation
Valid driver’s license (due to transporting persons served) – some positions/locations may require personal vehicle and auto‑liability insurance based on the role
A successful background clearance is required as part of the onboarding/employment process
Good communication is key in this role; rely on reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with internal and external team members
