About the Role
As the Director of Distribution & Logistics, you will serve as a key driver of Christy Sports’ Supply Chain strategy, overseeing the flow of merchandise across 7 distribution centers into more than 50 retail locations and through e‑commerce fulfillment in Colorado, Utah, Washington, and Montana. Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO), you will lead and evolve Transportation, Omni‑Channel Distribution Network, and end‑to‑end product lifecycle operations—from global inbound logistics through final delivery to the guest.
In this role, you will partner closely with Merchandise, Planning & Allocations, Stores, Finance, and Supply Chain Leadership to build a dynamic distribution and logistics operation aligned with our mission and values.
Responsibilities
Lead the organization, setting clear goals, expectations, and standards at all levels.

Lead the development and execution of annual operational plans, including budgets, capital investments, headcount, labor planning, and business‑continuity strategies.
Drive continuous improvement using industry benchmarking, emerging technology, and automation.
Establish and maintain performance standards and KPIs, using data management and analytics to meet or exceed Service Level Agreements.
Manage seasonal and peak volume fluctuations, optimizing labor and resources.
Leverage knowledge of material‑handling equipment and DC software to ensure effective product flow.
Own third‑party provider performance, including review of critical metrics and improvement planning.
Ensure operational alignment across Merchandising, Planning, Stores, Finance, Marketing, IT, and HR.
Partner with the CSCO to provide tactical and strategic support across daily operations, ongoing processes, and strategic projects.
Champion safety, security, and operational standards across all functions.
Build scalable and repeatable systems, processes, and reporting frameworks for growth and omni‑channel capabilities.
Align logistics strategies with enterprise priorities, balancing operational efficiency, customer experience, financial performance, and long‑term growth.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field – or equivalent experience.
10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, distribution, or logistics.
5+ years in a people‑leadership role with experience building high‑performing teams.
Proven experience managing 3PL partnerships, vendor relationships, and third‑party negotiations.
US Customs and vendor compliance experience preferred; understanding of international customs laws a plus.
Supply‑chain or operations certification preferred (e.g., APICS CSCP, CSCMP, CSCM, Lean/Six Sigma).
Proven ability to lead cost performance, supply/demand forecasting, and budget management.
Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
Strong analytical and data skills, proficiency with Tableau, SQL, or similar.
Domestic travel required (~10%) to distribution locations.

Budgeted range starts at: $100,000 – $125,000 annually. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience. Bonus eligible based on company performance indicators.
