The Opportunity
At Talisman Advisory Partners, we’re seeking an Associate Consultant to join our Finance & Investment Professionals practice in Los Angeles, CA.

This role is suited to an early-career recruitment professional looking to develop within a high-performance, advisory-led environment, supporting senior consultants and partners on complex, senior-level search mandates.

The successful candidate will gain structured exposure to the full recruitment lifecycle, with a clear pathway toward managing searches independently and assuming broader commercial responsibility over time.

What We're Looking For

Approximately 2 years’ experience in recruitment, executive search, or a related professional services environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Professional presence and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Commercially minded, performance-driven, and motivated by progression

Resilient, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities

Exposure to finance, infrastructure, energy, professional services, or similar sectors

Experience in executive search, retained search, or a specialist recruitment desk

Advanced LinkedIn Recruiter or CRM experience

What You’ll Do

Conduct targeted candidate research and market mapping across defined financial and investment markets

Develop and maintain talent maps, longlists, and pipelines for active mandates

Engage senior-level candidates through LinkedIn, email, and telephone

Screen candidates against role specifications and client requirements

Support execution of multiple live searches, including interview coordination, feedback management, and candidate communication

Prepare candidate summaries, shortlists, and client briefing materials

Maintain accurate records within the CRM and search tracking systems

Contribute to market intelligence, compensation benchmarking, and talent insights

Progressively support client relationship management and business development activities
