Quikrete, the leading producer of packaged concrete and related products, is looking for a Territory Sales Representative for the Washington DC and Northern Virginia market to represent its’ SPEC MIX brand of masonry and stucco commercial products. This position will be responsible for calling on contractors and dealers in the masonry and stucco supply channel as well as working with architects and engineers on product specification. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, and a commitment to learn the role and operate successfully in a team environment. If you are a self-starter and work independently, you are in the right place.

About the Role
The Territory Sales Representative will work closely with the Operations team in addition to connecting and building relationships with contractors and distributors.

Responsibilities

Visit varying job sites

Lead effective product presentations and demonstrations (train – how to use products)

Attend local and national construction shows as needed

Create product forecasts (both weekly and annually) and delivery schedules.

Overnight travel as needed

Create new business connections as well as maintain and grow existing business

About You
The ideal candidate must be passionate about the work and have the ability to build close relationships with key decision makers and influencers in the industry.

We Require

3 - 5 years sales/marketing experience.

Bachelor's degree preferred

Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record

Experience in the construction materials industry is preferred

Ability to lift or carry 80 lbs.

Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs are required
