About the Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to execute the daily audio‑visual technical support operations for all meetings and events held in the Mountainlair.

Responsibilities
Plan and execute daily technical support operations, including preparing equipment for specific meetings/events
Coordinate meetings/events planning details with supervisor and Mountainlair Reservations
Move equipment from storage to meeting/event locations and set up equipment in assigned locations
Meet with event clients to discuss last‑minute needs and conduct post‑event reviews and evaluations
Tear down equipment, return to storage, and clean and organize workspaces
Coordinate with Facilities and Catering for event setups as necessary
Coordinate with Mountainlair Night Operations on equipment retrieval and storage
Complete a written post‑meeting/event summary
Manage and maintain the inventory of audio‑visual equipment, including microphones, portable sound systems, LCD projectors, and web cameras
Demonstrate, train, supervise, and instruct student technicians on equipment usage and the operation of permanent meeting room computers, A/V equipment, and computer software
Perform basic repair and preventive maintenance on equipment, conduct regular meeting room computer software updates, and perform regular security checks of equipment
Research equipment upgrades and replacements and coordinate and execute equipment purchases
Qualifications
Related training obtained through a post‑high school program of up to eighteen (18) months plus two to three (2‑3) years of directly related work experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
A minimum of two (2) years of concurrent experience in the following areas:
Computer software and information technology
Customer service
Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered
All qualifications must be met by the time of employment

Daily lifting and carrying of audio‑visual equipment (50‑75 lbs)

Requirements
