This position is located in the Office of the Chief of Policy, Knowledge Management and Coordination Branch (PKMCB) in the United Nations Office of Counter‑Terrorism (UNOCT), based in New York. The Political Affairs Officer will serve as substantive coordinator of PKMCB. The incumbent reports to the Chief of PKMCB, supports quality control of the substantive work of the branch, coordinates PKMCB work with the Office of the Director, the Under‑Secretary‑General and other parts of UNOCT as well as PKMCB sections and teams.
