If so, as the Account Executive for Joffa Marketplace, you will own our entire B2B corporate gifting channel: outbound prospecting, full-cycle close, and long-term relationship stewardship across corporate, realtor, event-planner, and donor-relations buyers. We’re a Memphis-based 501(c)(3) social enterprise selling artisan-made corporate gifts that strengthen business relationships while empowering global communities. Every gift supports economic and social transformation for artisans in under-resourced communities worldwide.
This is our first dedicated B2B closer. The channel has been founder-led to date and we’ve proven the concept through initial corporate gifting relationships. We’re handing it to someone who can make it their full-time focus, build it through real relationships and great storytelling, and help shape the offer as we scale. Joffa’s two motions in 2026 are holiday corporate gifting and a year-round realtor partnership program.
This is a hunting role: you self-generate the majority of your pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, and cold outreach, and close it yourself. Warm HubSpot leads, an existing book of B2B accounts that transfer to you at full commission, and a sales mentor on call give you a head‑start, not the engine. We measure on closed revenue and prospecting activity, with quarterly targets co‑set with the Managing Director. You’ll report to the Managing Director, work alongside the Partner Relationships Manager, and have a defined path to B2B Sales Manager and Director of Revenue for the right hire.
What You’ll Own
Pipeline generation: outbound prospecting, networking, and cold outreach to target accounts; activity targets in addition to revenue targets.
Full sales cycle: discovery, presentation, proposal, close, and clean handoff to operations.
Realtor channel gifting: driving adoption of milestone gifting, referral incentives, and our smart gift card program with individual realtors, teams, and brokerages.
Holiday corporate gifting: securing commitments early across home services, financial services, and mid‑market companies, since production lead times require it.
Long‑term relationship stewardship: serving as primary client contact and nurturing repeat and referral business.
Offer refinement: bringing client feedback into proposals, pricing, and product curation; co‑developing the sales playbook with the Executive Director.
Pipeline discipline: keeping HubSpot current with deal stages, notes, and forecasts; weekly updates to leadership.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of B2B sales, ideally consultative or relationship‑based selling, with a track record of closing deals in the $2,500-$25,000 range.
Net‑new business orientation: you can point to specific accounts you opened from cold, not inherited or renewed.
Comfort with full‑cycle sales (prospecting, discovery, proposal, close) and with self‑generating the majority of your pipeline.
Seller‑doer who thrives in early‑stage environments: relational rather than transactional, energized by building rather than inheriting a polished machine, and comfortable helping the offer evolve.
Strong storyteller: Joffa’s value proposition lives or dies on the story behind every gift.
Bonus: Experience selling services, custom products, gifting, hospitality, or similar categories; nonprofit or mission‑driven organization experience.
Compensation
$65K base plus uncapped commission. On‑target Year One earnings in the high $70Ks to mid $90Ks, with no ceiling above that for performers. We share the full compensation plan, including commission structure, accelerators, and ramp support, during the hiring process.
