Head of Business Development
We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Head of Business Development to lead growth initiatives, expand market presence, and build strong client partnerships. This full-time leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing business development strategy, identifying new revenue opportunities, and driving long-term commercial success.
The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship builder with a strong track record of winning new business, leading high-value pitches, and turning market insight into measurable growth. You will work cross-functionally with senior leadership, marketing, and client services teams to strengthen visibility, develop strategic opportunities, and support sustainable revenue expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead a business development strategy that supports revenue growth and market expansion.
• Identify emerging market trends, competitive activity, and new partnership opportunities.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and strategic partners.
• Lead the end-to-end new business process, including outreach, qualification, proposal development, and pitch delivery.
• Cultivate senior-level relationships with key stakeholders to uncover long-term commercial opportunities.
• Partner with marketing and leadership teams to enhance brand visibility and support lead generation efforts.
• Drive organic growth within existing accounts by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure commercial opportunities are aligned with operational capabilities and delivery excellence.
• Contribute to forecasting, revenue planning, and performance reporting to support business targets.
• Mentor and guide team members involved in account growth and new business activity.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in business development, commercial strategy, or sales leadership.
• Strong track record of securing new business and growing strategic client relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate market insights into actionable growth plans.
• Experience managing complex pitches, proposals, and commercial negotiations.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including forecasting and revenue planning.
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence across teams and senior stakeholders.
