About The Role
As a Program Manager focused on events, you will lead the planning and execution of advisory boards, congresses, steering committees, and other HCP engagements, ensuring all programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.
You will partner closely with Strategic Account Directors, Scientific Directors, and Program Coordinators to manage workflows, budgets, and logistics across multiple programs. This includes ownership of timelines, vendor coordination, MLR processes, and financial tracking. You will serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring a seamless experience from planning through execution.
This role combines project management excellence with event execution expertise, requiring strong attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage both strategic priorities and day-to-day logistics. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and contributing to overall program success and client satisfaction.
Required Experience
3–6+ years of experience in program/project management within medical communications, pharma, or healthcare-related industries
Demonstrated experience managing live and virtual events, including advisory boards, congresses, speaker programs, or similar engagements
Strong experience managing timelines, budgets, and multiple workstreams simultaneously
Experience working with cross-functional teams (medical, strategy, creative, accounts)
Client-facing experience with strong communication and relationship management skills
Knowledge of medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) processes and compliance requirements in pharma
Ability to manage vendors, venues, and logistics for complex programs
Experience supporting congress planning, symposiums, or large-scale HCP events
Familiarity with virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Webex) and hybrid event execution
Experience with financial tracking tools, forecasting, and revenue management
Exposure to multiple therapeutic areas or high-science content environments

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
Reasonable estimate of the current range: $70,509.60 USD - $105,764.40 USD.
