Production Technician I

Position Summary
The Production Technician I executes assigned construction tasks within defined scopes, timelines, and quality standards. Work is performed under direct supervision with an emphasis on learning systems, improving efficiency, and delivering consistent output.

Core Responsibilities

Execute assigned scopes including (but not limited to):

Interior painting

Flooring installation (LVP, basic prep)

Drywall patching and minor repairs

Trim and finish assistance

Follow Crew Lead direction on task sequencing and production standards

Complete work within assigned labor expectations

Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites

Stage materials and tools to support production flow

Assist higher-tier technicians and crew members as neededCommunicate blockers, material needs, or scope issues early

Performance Expectations

Works within ~20% of estimated labor hours on assigned tasks

Produces work that does not require repeat correction or rework

Demonstrates progression in at least 2 core trade skills over time

Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality

Operates with increasing independence as competency develops

Skills & Requirements
Required:

Ability to follow direction and execute defined tasks

Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools

Physical capability for construction work (lifting, standing, repetitive tasks)

Reliable transportation

Preferred:

Prior experience in construction, maintenance, or trades

Exposure to residential renovation environments
