Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hands‑on

Site Engineer

to support ship repair, conversion, and marine engineering projects. This role involves providing on‑site engineering support, troubleshooting vessel systems, and coordinating with project teams and clients to ensure smooth technical execution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, automation, or marine systems, along with the ability to work effectively in shipyard and vessel environments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on‑site engineering support for ship repair, retrofit, and conversion projects.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to vessel systems and equipment.

Coordinate technical execution with internal project teams, contractors, and clients.

Support commissioning, testing, and maintenance activities onboard vessels.

Interpret and work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications.

Ensure work is completed in compliance with safety regulations, project requirements, and quality standards.

Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Marine Engineering, or a related technical field.

Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering or site-based experience.

Knowledge of electrical systems, control theory, or industrial automation.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Comfortable working on‑site in shipyards and onboard vessels.

Fluent English communication skills for technical reporting and client interaction.

Valid U.S. work authorization, Green Card, or U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with marine systems such as propulsion, power distribution, navigation, or vessel automation.

Relevant certifications such as CAP, Seaman’s Book, ETO, or Engineer License.

Previous experience in ship repair, offshore, marine, or industrial engineering environments.
