Job Description
Process Parts: Handle parts processing in tanks, strictly adhering to specifications, work orders, and established requirements.
Time Calculation: Accurately calculate the optimal processing time for each part.
Post-Processing: Upon completion of the processing time, promptly remove parts from the tank, rinse them thoroughly, and immerse them in a bath before final processing.
Documentation: Diligently complete all necessary paperwork as mandated by the company and processing guidelines.
Production Optimization: Collaborate with the Production Manager and actively participate in all line activities to optimize production throughput.
Data Recording: Meticulously record relevant data on work orders, including dimensions, tank numbers, temperatures, voltage levels, and time in/out of the tank.
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct thorough evaluations and maintain accurate logs of all preventative maintenance performed on the processing line.
Hazardous Waste Disposal: Ensure the proper and safe disposal of all hazardous waste materials in accordance with established procedures.
Additional Duties: Willingly undertake any additional tasks assigned by leaders.
Safety Compliance: Consistently utilize the required safety equipment, such as eye and ear protection, gloves, and a back brace when necessary. Strictly adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.
Management Direction: Receive daily guidance from the Supervisor and Site Manager, diligently following all management assignments and instructions.
Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of quality assurance, integrating them seamlessly into daily duties.
Qualifications and Skills
Awareness of the CSL Quality Management System, High School Diploma or GED, Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
Operational capabilities, specifications and work orders Previous manufacturing experience a Plus
Previous Experience with Chemical Processing preferred
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. Ability to deal with a variety of variables under only limited standardization and supervision. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all unit of measure using whole numbers and common factors
Physical Demands
The employee is required to frequently stand and lift objects
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Must be able to work in a hot environment
Required to wear personal protective equipment (eye/ear protection, gloves, etc.)
