Position Overview

The Senior Advisor to the President provides dedicated support to the firm's President and serves as a key resource for compliance support, records management, client relationship coordination, and office leadership. Located directly outside the President's office, this role is the first point of contact for the President's time and calendar.
This role combines structured administrative precision with high-level relationship and event ownership. Success depends on judgment, reliability, and an ability to move fluidly between operational detail and the President's strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities

Presidential Scheduling: Own the President's calendar as its sole manager. No meeting is confirmed without this role's coordination. Prepare meeting materials, coordinate travel, and manage all scheduling through the firm's admin inbox.
Client Events: Plan and execute the firm's annual client appreciation events and gift program, including the 20th Anniversary Party in January 2027.
Lobbying Disclosure Support: Gather data and compile draft LD-2 and LD-203 disclosure reports for review by the Director of Operations; maintain the political contribution log.
Records Management: Maintain the firm's shared drive filing system, conduct monthly records checks, and support the annual records audit.
Office Presence: Serve as the on-site presence in the President's suite, greet visitors, manage incoming mail and voicemail, and ensure the area reflects firm standards.
Qualifications

Prior experience in a senior scheduling, administrative coordination, chief of staff, or executive support role
Exceptional reliability and attention to detail in calendar management
Discretion with sensitive information involving personnel, clients, and firm leadership
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and standard office tools
Interest in or familiarity with Capitol Hill operations, government affairs, or defense policy is a plus
