Intelligence Tracking and Communications Center
*Night Shift 8:30 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.
Under limited supervision from the Communication Specialist Supervisor, the Communications Specialist at the ITAC Center will be responsible for all radio communications, NCIC duties and assisting with the GPS Operations when needed. The Specialist will be working in telecommunications and/or radio communications to provide support and assistance to Department staff or various law enforcement agencies. They must maintain a professional communication network inside and outside the Department, promote public relations within the Fusion Center and have effective communication with field staff/responders.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all radio communications.

Qualifications
A high school diploma and entry-level work experience with voice communications systems or central switchboard operations.
An associate degree in a technical communications discipline may be substituted for the required experience.
An associate degree and two years of experience in radio communications.
NCIC Certification preferred.
