Role Description
We're hiring a Community & Social Media Coordinator to own the day-to-day of Cuts' organic social presence on TikTok and Instagram. This is a hands-on, make-stuff role. You’ll be leading the Cuts community by managing the athlete program, repurposing community content for social media, and overseeing all things social - figuring out how to amplify our brand narratives.

This is not a strategy-only role and it's not a "community manager only" role. The center of gravity is content and social media. You'll be responsible for ideating, curating, gathering, and often-times producing every post that goes out, hitting a daily minimum cadence on both platforms, and working directly with the Brand & Content Director to build a social playbook that makes Cuts impossible to scroll past. You’ll be at the heart of our loyal athlete community, getting content from them as affiliates and fostering long term relationships with pros before they blow up.

You'll also be on-set for every editorial shoot, capturing the native social layer in parallel with the hero capture, and you'll curate and edit creator content from our existing creator pipeline to decide what earns an organic slot.

In this role, social strategy does not just mean “shooting everything on and iPhone”. Though a more organic media mix may be relevant, it is more important that you understand the storylines and visual hooks that will capture attention, and understand what it means to build a community.
