We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager based in the United States to join our team and drive the growth of our crypto exchange platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the crypto and blockchain space, coupled with a proven track record in establishing partnerships, expanding customer networks, and driving revenue growth. As the Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's strategic direction and contributing to its success in the dynamic and evolving cryptocurrency market.
Responsibilities
Develop local partnerships in both crypto and traditional finance markets to enable growth
Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the company's customer base, increase trading volumes, and enhance overall market presence
Create and maintain a database of prospect clients
Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the crypto and blockchain space to drive innovative business development opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are met
Utilize outbound sales experience to proactively engage with potential clients and generate leads
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build relationships and promote brand visibility
Monitor and analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to identify potential areas for growth and improvement
Provide timely reports and updates to senior management, detailing progress on business development initiatives, partnerships, and market developments
Support clients onboarding and operation duties assigned by managers
Other tasks and projects indicated by the management team
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
Proficiency in English and Mandarin
Proven track record of at least 3 years in business development or partnership management roles within the cryptocurrency, fintech, or financial services sectors
Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations within the crypto industry
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain strong relationships with partners and clients
Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced and dynamic team environment
In-depth knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, and NFTs will be a plus
Fluency in English is required. Mandarin and/or Spanish language skills are considered an asset, but not required.
