Branded by is hiring a

Head of Business Development

to own regional lead generation and closing. You’ll run discovery → strategy → close, build pipeline consistently, and hit clear monthly close targets.

Branded by started as a local agency (Branded by Greenville) and are now expanding digitally to cities across the U.S. We are a small but mighty Design Advertising firm.

Schedule + territory

Schedule:

40 hrs/week (9–6pm or 8–5pm) with 1 hr lunch

Quota / performance targets

Month 1–2:

1 close / month

Month 3–4:

3 closes / month

Month 5+:

5 closes / month

Tools + operating rhythm

Outbound:

personal organic outreach (email, social, cold calls)

Compensation

Benefits:

Not included

Close commission (one-time):

10% of setup fee (paid when first payment clears)

Residual commission (monthly):

8% of monthly retainer collected per active client, for up to 12 months (Paid monthly while employed and the client remains active)

Clawback:

reversed if client cancels within 30 days of close

Accelerator:

once monthly quota is hit, each additional close that month earns a

$500 bonus

on top of standard close commission (paid after first payment clears)

What you’ll do

Build and manage a consistent outbound + inbound pipeline in your territory

Run discovery calls, qualify opportunities, and drive deals to close

Coordinate internal handoffs so delivery launches smoothly after close

Track pipeline activity and results in Notion with clear next steps

What we’re looking for

Proven ability to generate and close deals (B2B services preferred)

Strong discovery and consultative selling skills

Comfortable with outbound prospecting (email, social, cold calls)

Organized operator who can keep pipeline clean and up to date

Clear written + verbal communication; confident presenting strategy
