Air Liquide Large Industries provides our customers with industrial gas and energy solutions that are vital to their own industrial production. We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S. supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining and steel industries. Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely monitored 24/7 within our leading-edge operations control center located in Houston, Texas. Our operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination. We are constantly optimizing our supply network to provide high reliability and energy efficiencies allowing Air Liquide to adjust supply needs more quickly and effectively enabling growth to our customers.

Required Qualifications:

Participate in the Life Critical Safety program

Contribute to the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the hydrogen plant.

Support and comply with all safety, health, and environmental procedures as defined by site and corporate personnel.

Support and comply with all process safety management practices and operate within the established quality systems, reporting any deficiency

Make suggestions to advance plant safety, efficiency and quality.

We are looking for someone who can effectively coordinate with management and logistics regarding product delivery activities.

Develop equipment purging and isolation plans as required

Prepare equipment for maintenance activities in a safe manner

Enters work orders into CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) as required

Complete work orders assigned by the maintenance department

Foster a positive, professional work ethic and work collaboratively with the team to follow established safety protocols.

Provide on-call assistance or support additional shifts when required.

Actively participate in training programs

Develop or revise operating procedures as appropriate

Work toward becoming proficient on the DCS system

Fill and prepare liquid hydrogen trailers for shipment

Chemical analysis of water samples

Operate Reverse Osmosis System and water treatment plant

Ideally, you bring or are ready to develop an understanding of the basic SMR/Liquification Process (Pass Field and Drawing Test)

Contribute to other site priorities as assigned by the Plant Manager

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications:

1+ years of related industrial operations experience

High school diploma or GED required; 2 year Associates degree in a technical field or technical training preferred

Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.

Ability to use computers with knowledge of MS Office/Google software.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills in order to deal effectively with management and external customers.

Knowledge and understanding of instrumentation, rotating equipment, and piping systems.

Demonstrates self motivated attitude.

Physical Requirements:

Has full range of motion and ability to lift 50 lbs

Able to work 12 hour rotating shifts

Ability to climb and ascend vertical ladders as required

Ability to enter and work in confined spaces

Ability to wear a respirator

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior Industrial gas experience
