Introduction
Act as a strategic advisor for clients seeking to modernize media and paid media operations. Assess current state teams, agency relationships, data flows, measurement setups, and operating models. Recommend redesigns that improve efficiency, governance, in-housing models, and AI-enabled decisioning.
Your Role And Responsibilities
Assess current media planning/buying processes, roles, skills, and organizational structures.
Diagnose maturity across measurement, budgeting, media governance, brand safety, and channel planning.
Advise on future-state operating models: hybrid or in-house media teams, COEs, governance councils, and QA processes.
Evaluate agency models and define vendor optimization strategies.
Identify AI/GenAI opportunities: automated media briefs, forecasting, budget optimization models, real-time insights, creative fit checks.
Define data, tagging, and measurement foundations required for high-quality media operations.
Build actionable roadmaps to transition from current to future state with change management built in.
Support senior stakeholders (CMO, Media Director, Finance) in aligning on investment strategy and KPIs.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
10+ years in media strategy, performance marketing, or media operations consulting.
Strong understanding of how media processes work (even if not hands-on in buying).
Ability to speak credibly with senior clients about governance, ROI, and measurement design.
Experience advising on technology integration (DSPs, analytics, MMM/MTA inputs, CDPs).
Preferred: Experience in B2B Marketing and with technologies such as Adobe & Salesforce.
